LaszloRain
L. Thomas Nador President, Executive Director

Tom Nador is the founder and driving force behind Laszlo Rain. From his humble beginnings as a camera operator and equipment technician, Tom has built one of the premier production facilities in Texas; one with growing national and international capabilities.
The "L" in L. Thomas stands for Laszlo. The moniker has become Laszlo's creative signature -namely, a unique style of working with seasoned pros that take a tribal approach to projects.T Born in Montreal of Hungarian parents, Tom spent his youth as a promising junior hockey prospect. He began a pre-medicine education only to fall in love with film production in his junior year. Jobs as a cameraman and editor for television news and documentaries honed his skills, and advertising and marketing opened his eyes to a more artistic impression.
As the head of in-house production at Anderson Advertising in San Antonio, Tom was able to generate enough project growth to spin off his first venture, Shootz Productions, replacing the agency's need to outsource commercial production. He refined this model, founding both Laszlo Pictures and Rain Studio as full-service production boutiques for ad agencies and independent producers.
In 2002, he expanded the regional production offerings under the unified identity known today as Laszlo Rain. Tom's dedication to his craft and his mastery of multiple roles from director to executive producer has yielded a commercial production facility unlike any other. And his love and respect for the business and his growing list of clients has never varied.
He is married to Szilvia, with two young children, Skyler and Tristen and still patrols the ice in San Antonio's adult hockey leagues.
